BEST GRADUATE STUDENT PAPER AWARD DEADLINE EXTENDED: MARCH 14, 2025
The AAG Latinx Geographies Specialty Group is pleased to announce the fifth annual award for best graduate student paper on a topic pertaining to Latinx geographies. The winner will receive a $300 award and the opportunity to workshop and consult with a member of the Latinx Geographies Awards Committee on their manuscript as they prepare for its submission to a peer-reviewed journal.
Papers submitted could address the structures that affect Latinx lives on local, national, and/or global scales, as well as the cultural, racial and/or political geographies of Latinx peoples. Applicants must send complete papers as a PDF attachment to latinxgeographies@gmail.com by March 14, 2025
