- How do I request Latinx Geographies Group sponsorship for my AAG Session, Paper, Panel, Lightning Paper, and/or Poster at the upcoming 2027 AAG San Francisco annual meeting?
Submit your sponsorship request via our LxG sponsorship form. Submit your request for all sessions by December 1, 2026. The official AAG deadline for organizing your session is December 17, 2026.
We will respond to your sponsorship requests on a rolling basis as we receive them up until the deadlines above so that you may list Latinx Geographies as one of your sponsoring specialty groups. We will also highlight your session on our social media leading up to the annual meeting.

2. How do I highlight my AAG paper/poster as part of Latinx Geographies?
Please wait until we have confirmed our sponsorship of your paper/poster. Once you have heard from us, and if you want to ensure your individual paper or poster is highlighted as part of the growing Latinx Geographies subfield at the annual meeting, be sure to select Latinx Geographies as one of your topics when submitting your AAG 2027 abstract. Selecting “Latinx Geographies” as one of your topics will ensure your individual paper or poster shows up in participant searches for papers and posters about Latinx geographies at the annual meeting, even if you are not in an LxG sponsored session.
